About this product
What it is made of
Moulded ABS plastic. ABS is used here rather than steel for a specific reason: it takes the repeated impact of a wheel pushed into it without denting, and it will not mark a rim or transfer rust to a frame. It is also light enough to move with one hand when the floor needs sweeping.
How it works
The rear wheel rolls into a moulded channel and the arms take the weight, holding the bike upright without clamping the frame. It fits road and mountain wheels alike because the channel grips the tyre rather than the axle, so nothing has to be measured or adjusted before first use.
