About this product
What it is made of
Cotton corduroy, cut with a pile that stands up rather than lying flat. That standing pile is what does the insulating - the air held between the ribs, not the thickness of the cloth. It also means the fabric shows movement, catching light differently as the leg bends, which is why corduroy reads as warmer than a flat weave of the same weight.
